Joseph James, M.D., received his bachelor's degree from City College in New York in 1984. He continued his education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and received his medical degree in 1988.
His residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Geriatric Medicine were both completed at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
Dr. James is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has a certificate of added qualification in Geriatrics. He serves part-time on the clinical faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University's Medical College of Virginia as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. James has been a physician with Primary Health Group since 1997. He serves on the Board of Directors at Westminster Canterbury and the Instructive Visiting Nurses Association.
He lives in Richmond with his wife and has two children.

Jerome Daniel, M.D., attended Duke University and graduated in 1972 with his bachelor's degree. He received his medical degree from VCU's Medical College of Virginia in 1976. His residency training in Family Practice was done at Chesterfield Family Practice through a partnership with MCV and CJW Medical Center.
He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practicing medicine in Richmond for more than 30 years. He has been with Primary Health Group since 1979.
He serves part-time on the clinical faculty at VCU's Medical College of Virginia as an Associate Professor of Family Practice. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Daniel lives in Richmond and has 2 children. In his leisure time, he enjoys running in local marathons.

Judith McKenzie, M.D., is a 1989 graduate of the University of Florida. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami's School of Medicine in 1993. Her residency in Internal Medicine was completed at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1996.
Dr. McKenzie practices outpatient general internal medicine and has a special interest in preventative medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. McKenzie joined Primary Health Group in 2007. She lives in Richmond with her husband and two children.

Dr. Cella received her bachelor's degree from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1980 and her medical degree from VCU's Medical College of Virginia in 1985. Her residency training was completed at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Dr. Cella is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practicing medicine in Richmond for more than 20 years. She joined Primary Health Group in 2009.
She lives in Richmond and is married with two children.
